Good day everyone,
I write from Udine, Italy, I'm a curious and passionate amphibians, aquatic organisms, and turtles, I'm not so young, but I like these topics for over thirty years. It's all the fault of Gerald Durrell and my aquarium shop . I've been following you for a long time but in my spare time. I've had good breeding experiences with frogs of simple reproduction like Litoria and some dendrobates.

I raise with affection 4 Litoria Caerulea, 1 male and 3 females, 4 Epipedobates Tricolor and 50 young tricolor, 4 Tetudo marginata 10 Testudo Hermanni 5 testudo boettgeri.

Two sons and a holy wife  who supports me.. and a beautiful little female dog, I do not live in the country. I always read a lot of interesting things about the group, I hope one day to be able to give my contribution, even before getting to retirement from work.
Good experiences at all, for me is a pleasure to read.

My best regards Giulio V.

with axolotls would I basically have to keep buying and buying new axolotls to prevent inbred breeding which costs a lot of money??

Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation

Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
