Just realised need to introduce myself!
My name is Gillian, I am from Gloucester, I dont know that much about newts, as I mainly own lizards!,but i would love a newt, the little newt i found has made me facinated with these beautiful little animals, they are so intelligent and inquizitive,not that my lizards arent either!.
I read that people used to catch smooth newts and keep them as pets?, I have a conscience about keeping a wild caught newt as they where born in the wild, although it seems my little guy is reluctant to go!,but i guess i am going to have to part with him
