Hi! Been an axie owner for over 10 years. Had my first accidental clutch recently. (Didn’t know female was sexually mature!! Oops!) So I now have a crap-ton of babies.
Mom was melanoid. Dad was GFP albino (I think—haven’t black-lighted him but I have about 1/3 of the babies that have the trait).
I have a lot of lucies. And many wild types. No melanoid, I don’t think, which is sad. Here is the one that I’m curious about…
Am I seeing things, or is there a line down the middle? Is this a chimera? I’m the unluckiest person and a realist, so I am doubting myself hardcore. This baby is staying with me either way—but can you see it? It looks like 2 different types… especially on the gills. Or maybe it just has cool coloring. But the GFP seems to be mainly on one half?
(It’s cleaning day, so tank is a bit yucky)
