Help!! Legs not working// upside down?

Hi! iv never done this before so bear with me xx
my axolotl was fine u tik yesterday he’s been eating less bc of the cold weather atm but he’s started not using his back legs? almost like they are paralysed? and he keeps tipping upside down and not being able to right himself. he doesn’t soon to be so much as floating just that there is air in his belly or something? he has also become way more visibly vainy

any help would so appreciated, don’t know what i would do if i lost this little guy xx

Do you have photos? What are the parameters?

you need to check you water parameters, use holtfreters solution (info here Axolotls - Requirements & Water Conditions in Captivity )
tub him/her in cold shallow water until the tank is sorted,
would help to see a photo.
if you find that the nitrites are high start giving him/her methyline blue baths info on how to here Tubbing and Safe Meds - Oregon Axolotls
