I've been searching for DAYS for land moss to place on the slope of my fountain I will be building inside my terrarium. I live in Michigan. Does anyone know where I can find this type of moss for lower cost preferably?

I want the moss because I think it would serve well under the trickle of water AND because it is, in a way, a living substrate for one side of my tank. I don't mind changing the substrate, I would just like a different variation in there. If you have any other plant ideas that would be great, or reasons why I should or should not use moss.

Thank you.

Justin.

since it will be constantly wet from the fountain, java moss is super cheap and easy to find for your tank. I think i saw an ad for it in the for sale section. i unfortunately just gave all my extra to a friend otherwise I'd offer you some of mine. the only constrain java moss has is that it needs to stay moist at all times. i had some on a floating island in one of my tanks and it thrived. any that dries out will die.
