Help my axie has red skin showing under his gills

take a look at this pic and tell me what you think i
have two axies do you think the other one has attacked this one?

Kylie,

I dont think there is anything to worry about.. Axolotls have alot of blood running through these areas so i would expect its just blood you can see under the skin.

Just keep an eye on it to see if there is any swelling in the area.
