Hi , I'm from Peru , I 'm working on a project to regenerate the ambystoma mexicanum , my idea is to observe the regeneration process by histological sections. Because they do not want to generate stress in animals when amputation an anesthetic was used. I tested with chloroform to obtain an induction in the first minute of placing the substance on a cotton , I have also used lidocaine 2%, the probe with xenopus laevis , this was about 20 ml of the substance for 10 minutes without looking at any stage induction . Please if you know any substance or any method which can effectively anesthetize and without side effects. Thank you. Forgiveness use google translator .
