I was given some eggs from my sister batch on Sunday the 21st of June. When i go them they had already developed into mini axies with gills and all. I got them setup in a tank with a temp of 22 degrees celcius with a filter. The majority of them move from time to time. Im just curious if anyone can tell me when they may hatch... Or is it still just a waiting game....

Hi Trappers,

It's a waiting game I'm afraid. It usually takes about two weeks (give or take a week depending on conditions) for axolotl eggs to hatch.

Thanks for that Jacq.

The eggs were laid at the beginning of this month, perhaps late last month. Hence me asking the question. But if its still just a waiting game then thats fine by me.

Hiya
They look fine to me at the moment.
Doesn't look like it will be long tho.

Hope you've got plenty of food waiting lol.
