Help with identification

Hello forum

I am in need of help, identifying what type of neut this is. It was found by my grandad in his pond, and looks very much like the great crested neut that is know to be rare.

I would appreciate any feedback on helping me find out the species.

Maybe Lissotriton sp.? L. vulgaris possibly, but I don't know a whole lot about Lissotriton sp.
 
Ill do some research on those :D
 
Thank you for identifying this! Yes it is was found dead in my gran-dads pond!
