Help with Identifying

Hello! I have known for years that there were salamanders on our property, but it has been a while since we have found large specimens. Yesterday we found a pool of these guys. They are so cool! We put them in a container to get a closer look. I am curious what type of newt/salamander they are? I have an idea on what they might be... but would love to hear from those who are experienced. Thanks!

We are located in Indiana.

I'm absolutely no expert when it comes to caudates of the US, but I guess they look a lot like Notophthalmus sp..
