Hello and thank you for taking a peek at Charlie here! I am considering adding an axolotl, but before doing so wanted to get some opinions on whether my 1 year old wild type axie, Charlie, is female or male. I think I got a good angle here (awkward photos to say the least), and would greatly appreciate some more experienced eyes on this one.

Many thanks!

Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
