I have had my axolotl about a week now and just yesterday I noticed that he had developed what looked like fungus in his gills. I have seen many people talk about this issue and how easily axolotls can get it. I have seen many conflicting ideas on how exactly to treat this fungus, does anyone have and ideas? Also I know the picture quality is not the best, he wasn't cooperating and the camera wouldn't focus very well. Thanks!

Hard to tell from the pic, but if it is fluffy and sitting on the gills the best bet is it is fungus. A quick salt bath should get rid of it. If caught early you may only need one or two bath sessions :)
