my newt is badly infected. I have him in dirt quarantine and I'm cleaning the wounds with hydrogen peroxide and neosporin. There is no emergency service available here for exotic animals, but I'm going to take him to the vet ASAP first thing tomorrow morning if he makes it through the night. He's very small and he hasn't eaten in at least four days. How cold do I need to keep him in dirt quarantine? How much humidity does he need while he's in there? (he's a chinese fire belly newt, I think, and probably pretty young) Also, should I still try and feed him? If so, what? he hasn't accepted any food up to this point and in reality seems to try to avoid it. Help, please!
