Hey all.
Since I had a few invitations from my family to go FL next summer I was thinking if herping for salamanders was possible during this period. If i decide to go, I'll be at Orlando but we'll surely move both northern and southern. So I mainly wanted to know opinions of people familiar with this. I may even consider south Georgia.
Let me hear from your experiences,
Thanks,
Jorge

It's possible to find caudates during that time, it just will take a little more effort.

I have a friend in FL that tryed to find newt/salamanders in his backyard(which has a river and alot of tall grass and other vegatation) and he has had no luck.Even when it rains he can't seem to find any.He has also setup a pitfall trap and still nothing.
