Hello !

i'm a beginner axolotl owner (i have one juvenile named Howl, not sure what type he is!) and longtime lover of all reptiles and amphibians. i'm pretty nervous about keeping my axie happy and healthy--i got him at a pet store and was unaware at the time of purchase (about two weeks ago) of all of the specifics of axolotl care (the owner of the pet store told me it would be 'no biggie'.....ha). Now that I've been spending time on the forums here I've learned a lot and just want to make sure that I do right by Howl !

I'm a college student finishing up a degree in English lit and about to make a big move later this summer from boston to florida, and--of course--bringing my axie with me. So I'm also looking for advice on moving axies long distances!

Can't wait to become more involved on here--and hope you all don't mind a rather ignorant beginner!

Hi, welcome to the site!
Axies are very easy to look after, as easy as goldfish. Just keep their water clean and feed them healthy stuff and you should be fine. Nobody minds answering questions on here, even seemingly silly ones, everyone started somewhere! :)
