well i bought 3 alleged fbn but after looking on this site im now thinking that they could be warty newts.i'd only had them for 2 days when we found one dead in the morning.when we looked him over to see what was wrong he had what looked like sores under his chin and on his neck.then 2 days after that we found the other one dead and he had the same symptoms.luckily the third one is eating well and after checking he has no marks on him.i've also got 7 redclawed crabs,a raindow crab called lord claude a tank full of varios fish,some cherax quads(crayfish) ,two birds and a cat called nippy.what species are you interested in.

I hope you're not keeping your newt in with the other animals!

I keep mostly ambystomatid species.

no ive got the newt in his own tank but im just disappointed that two of them died and i dont know why.all the other pets are in their own tanks aswell.

The newts probably died through no fault of your own. Many times, these animals are newly imported and are quite sick with parasites and stress from shipping. We call this 'pet shop syndrome'. I wouldn't beat yourself up over it.
