Hi,
Its about 28 degrees celsius over here. Can this kill the axolotls or just stress them. Making chillers are difficult for me and ice and frozen bottles just melt in like 40 minutes! Is there a more easy way to decrease the water temperature. What is the temperature at the place you keep your axies?

Reid if you go to the Quality of Life section and scroll down you will find a title 'Home Made Chiller'.This is a smart and much cheaper alternative to a bought chiller.A plan is in this thread have fun.The heat could potentely kill it.

A fan over the tank (lid off) will cool the water a couple of degrees too.

At 28C, they might not be killed directly, but they will be more vulnerable to other problems, including a variety of diseases. There is a list of suggestions for cooling here:

A fan will help a couple of degrees. Got a basement?
