How can I tell if a leucistic axolotl is het for melanophores?

I was thinking about breeding my axolotls in the future (I have two leucistics and two melanoids) and it would really be helpful to know if there was a way to see if a leucistic axolotl is het for melanophores, so I could predict the outcome of the babies.
