How do you cure fungal infection?

my axie as a fungal infection (cloudy blotches on his body) and i was wondering how to get rid of it!

will he die from fungal infection if it is not treated?

i have heard something of a 'salt bath' and i would really want to learn more about it, i just want the best for my axies!
