How long do they live?

I looked on the main page, but didn't see anything about this. How long do Axies live usually?
My girlfriend has a fire bellied salamander that's over 22 years old! & I just found out that my son's fire bellied toad will probably live into it's 20's too! Are Axies as long lived?

Michael - I had one for 13 years and he was sold along with the rest of my group of axolotls at that time.

For some reason 15 - 18 years sticks in my mind, but I'm not sure where I saw those numbers.

The female in my profile picture was 11 when she died.

Everything I've read says something around 15 years but it all depends on the conditions you keep your axolotls in.
