Between all of my animals (one aquatic tank, finally, and 5 terrestrial tanks), plus the cats, I don't think I spend more than an 3 or 4 hours a week on cleaning and feeding. And that includes one python who literally takes 45 minutes to eat his dinner. I do have a little more involvement in the summer because I take the snakes out for some actual sunshine every couple of days.

The hubby, on the other hand, he's high maintenance, always wanting food and attention and food. Boys...

I think I spend about an hour or so a day looking after, or gazing at my caudates. I spend much more time on this site, its shameful

Larvae definetly take more time than adults do.

Between all my animals I'd say about an hour a day(not counting time spent simply observing them-of course not counting time spent browsing websites for info). If I needed to I could spend significantly less time-but part of the fun is doing maintenance.

I guess it averages at just under an hour a day. I spend about 15-20 mins everyday feeding and doing some spotcleaning/misting etc... and a couple of hours at the weekend doing the longer tasks (water changes, landscaping, etc.).

That said it might be a bit more when you add the amont of time I spend with the larvae after the spring explosion!

Wow, I am really surprised how much time people spend on their newts.

I spend less than an hour a day, most days anyway. But I get my worms from outside, and since everything I have is juveniles so I only need a few worms to cut up. I have 9 in total so its not a lot.
Water changes take about 20 minutes ( I only have two tanks with water ), feeding takes like 10, and of course that's not everyday.

Buttt......if you count herping, then I would spend about two hours on a good rainy day. But I don't really know if that counts.....
