You can purchase them from the Indiana University website and I think they are approximately $22 for an egg or a baby I'm not sure. I got mine from the University of Kentucky (where I went to school) and mine was free

Hi guys, Im Pam from Scotland, and my axi is only 8cm and she cost me £28. They are quite expensive over here , as they are rare. 2 year ago when i was finding out about the little guys, the were £22. So they must be selling them well, as they upped the price.
I got my Axolotl at the Festival of Fish Keeping (UK) last year from a breeder for £5!! I later found out that they were selling in pet shops for over £20, so i was very lucky.
