how to disinfect action figures

how do you disinfect an action figure made of plastic/pvc?
 
I am also curious as to this topic but with silicone plants- that’s all my newt will use. He refused to enter the water and sat on his floating log literally all day today looking physically ill until I bought new and placed them in. Does not at all like the Java fern. 🙄

so crazy mine LOVE the java ferns, but be cautious while using the plastic plants they will kill fish and newts
 
We had the ones previously for six months and didn’t impact him. He hates live plants. He actively avoids them in fact. But loves the softer silicone ones for some reason- my daughters originally picked them out due to bright colors. They just get dirty looking quickly in my experience so would love to learn any insights into keeping them clean here!

    with axolotls would I basically have to keep buying and buying new axolotls to prevent inbred breeding which costs a lot of money??

    Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation

    Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
