Hey guys! My Frankie who is a adult leucistic axie and me, we are having trouble with hand feeding. Most of the time, Frankie won’t even let me hand feed her, and when she does, she can’t get the pallet from my hand! I feel like I am holding the pallet too tight and when Frankie tries to eat it, she can’t get it out of my grip. But when I hold the pallet really soft and gentle, it slips out of my hand before Frankie can eat it! I know I can just leave the pallet on the ground and wait for Frankie to eat it, but I need Frankie to trust me and see that I am not a threat. What can I do? I need help. If you see this thread, please comment on what I can do. It would really help. 🥺

Thanks for reading! 😇

First things first:
Do what is necessary to cure Frankie of that infection.

Then lower to 19 C at least.

Then add more hides for Frankie.

Until you do these things, Frankie will always see you as an abuser and an enemy and she will justly hate you.

I'm on team Frankie like everyone else on this forum is who has proffered you help and advice. Only if you are against Frankie and have a putrid hatred for her will you wittingly ignore our advice.
