Hi all i have been feeding my axies a combination of blood worms and trout worms. I have started a wormery with my trout worms to reproduce food for my axie. Is anyone else doing this? Curious to see whats out there.
Yes, many of us caudate keepers have indoor and outdoor earthworm cultures. I highly recommend e. Hortensis worms. They do well in my cool basement. Environment and temperature must be an important factor in the individual's decision on what worm to culture. Some like warmer temps, such as African night crawlers.
Red wigglers I don't recommend because many caudates refuse to eat them on account of their foul smell and taste.
