I don't know what kind of water conditioner to use seachem or tetrafauna aqua safe?
 
I do not have any experience with those brands, but why don't you google the product and look at reviews.
 
I've been using Reptisafe by Zoomed for a while now and it seems well. I think the only thing you wanna steer clear of is the slime coat stuff they add for fish.
