HI well my axie has been floating for a week or so on one side. I have ckecked the temperature and it was a bit too high 28 degrees. The thing is I've always had him in that temperature as I was told I shouldnt' put a thermostat or something With the atmosphere temperature it would be enough. So I've had him for 5 years and a half living like that , I give him meat, liver, and worms from time to time.
Reading all these posts I decide to put him in the fridge. Luckily he has stopped floating. the temperature is now 10 degrees. What calls my attention is his back legs he has them like hidden under his belly. I don't know if its too cold form him ??? How long shall I keep him there?? Can anybody help me? Naty

10 C is definately NOT too cold. It's a perfect temperature. I'm not sure why he'd be hiding his back legs. Any signs of infection? He can stay in the fridge for up to a month. Try keeping your tank cool by blowing a fan over the top, and adding frozen water bottles.
