I put a few crickets in this setup last week. After they gone( possibly salamander ate them since i didn't see the dead crickets and it's impossible for them to escape. However i didn't see salamander's poo either), i put some more crickets (like 5), and i can still see the crickets hiding on the bark. Usually the salamander is hiding under the bark and I'm not sure if it will come out and hunt at night since i didn't see it. However this picture shows he came out because i changed the water and he is possibly frightened when removing the bark. Is he looks ok? Should i try some other food or just leave it until it calm down?
