I need some quick advice please. I have a little surface skimmer in the tank. It popped loose from the wall and the float came out. About an hour ago, I fed him a worm. I just went in and found he had chased the storm and got stuck to the skimmer. I got him loose, he threw up, and now has a huge lump on his side from the suction. Of course it's safe to assume there's internal hemorrhaging from the suction, so I'm afraid he'll pass by morning. Is it possible that fridging him will help at all? Maybe slow things down so he can heal?? I've had the little guy over 10 years... I feel sick over this.

I just put him in the fridge until I hear otherwise. The bulge does seem to be going down a teeny bit.

Hopefully it'll just be a bruise. It may be a case Of wait and see.
