Question: Introducing a new fire salamander to pre-existing one

I had 2 fire salamanders, a male and a female. However,my male fire salamander has sadly passed due to not handling the stress of moving. In the future I was planning to breed the two, would it be possible to re-introduce a male fire salamander without them trying to hurt one another?
