Is everything ok?

I have noticed that my axie, Gilly, keeps going to the top off his tank for air, Is this normal?

I have had him a little over a week and as I hadnt pre-cycled the tank I am doing 20% daily water changes (I plan to get some tester kits in the next fews days). There is a filter and an airstone in his tank, hes eating well and doesnt seem to have any other problems.

How often does he do it?
A lot of axolotl do it simply because they enjoy doing so.
However, very regularly could show a problem in your tank - get the liquid tests rather than the strips - they're far more accurate/reliable.

Let us have the readings ASAP.

I have caught him a couple of times so far today doing it. Thanks for the tip on the test kits too Amber.
