Is it normal for my axo to act like this when tubbed?

Hello guys! Just have a question, I'm tubbing my axie rn while I set up her chiller in her large tank, is it normal for axolotls to like swim against the walls and poke their nose out of water when they see me? Or is that sign of ammonia poisoning? I just want to make sure she'll be fine, I'll be tubbing her until tommorow, so she wont be in the tub long. Thanks for any answers!

It looks like there's not enough water in the tub. How deep is that water?

Also, there would be no reason for ammonia issues as long as you're doing 100% water changes daily.
