Hey Everyone,
My baby is nearly 2 and a half years old (i count from the day i got him). He's a black colour with a charcoal coloured tummy.

I've noticed over the last 6 months or so he's developed large (5mm) black(er) and white spots on (mostly) his head. He seems ok, a bit cranky, but i think that's just him.

He also has a transparent portion of his tail about 1 cm on the very end.

I read that many of the lighter coloured axies get pigmentation on their faces, is this the same sort of thing?

He's pretty active, at the moment anyway. One last question, when should one be able to tell whether they have a male or female? at what approximate age? I've gotten so use to called him "him" that i better find out for sure
