Hey guys,
I've recently gotten a Hailea HC 500A chiller which is for aquariums up to 500L for my 150 L tank which I filter with a Fluval 206. The recommended flow rate for the chiller is 1200 to 3000 LPH but my filter's pump output is only 780 L/h so I'm guessing i'll have to buy a new pump? Does anyone with this chiller have any recommendations for a suitable pump and good ways to reduce the outflow from the chiller as I'm worried the current from the canister filter & the chiller will be too much for my axolotl.
Thanks

with axolotls would I basically have to keep buying and buying new axolotls to prevent inbred breeding which costs a lot of money??

Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation

Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
