Question: Is she ok?

Hey everyone,

I just got new Axolotl's and am still getting past the "new owner paranoia!"

I noticed "Monkeys" belly is very black and was wondering if this is because of her food..or if shes ingesting alot of sand? Does it look bad?

Any Information will be very helpful!

Even if it is sand, your sand looks fine enough for it to pass without complications. You can try feeding your axie with tongs/forceps to reduce the chance of it ingesting the sand.
