Is this an efficient way to cool down Vivariums?

You might be asking “what is this?”. So basically I’ve been thinking of cooling my Vivarium by placing an ice pack or a frozen water bottle on top of the enclosure so that the air around it stays cool. I also covered the Icepack with a plastic container so that the cold air is going into the tank. My question is does the container really improve anything? Is there a more efficient way to do this? Also the fan isn’t used in case you are wondering because I heard that it can dry amphibian skin. I also spray the tank with a fridged bottle for even cooler temperatures.
