I’ve had my new aquarium cycling for four days now and I’m noticing white and green spots on the mopani wood. I’m assuming this is mold of some kind, but I’m not sure if this would be dangerous to newts. I still have a month or so to sort this out before animals are added, so if this is dangerous, how should I go about getting rid of it?
