Hi, I was given an axlotol a few months ago by a friend who is very experienced in aquatics, he incredibly downplayed how much goes in to caring for them. Every lesson has been learned the hard way. This is Ash, he's current in a bucket while transition him to a new 40 gallon tank with cannister filter, I accidentally crashed the cycle in his 20 gallon trying to deal with an insane copepod Infestation(if anyone has an input on that, that would be greatly appreciated, I really wanted to move at least one sponge filter to the new tank), anyway I need to know if this white, is his slime coat or something bad like fungus or bacteria. I've been doing tea baths just in case. I know he's a little thin right now do to cutting back feeding, once I get him back in a nice tank, will return normal feeding...any input would be GRACIOUSLY appreciated...thank you
