Ivy in terrestrial vivarium

Is ivy a suitable plant for the vivarium? I seem to remember a while back hearing that it could be toxic to some amphibians, so I'm a little wary about it. I've seen photos (on caudata.org I think) of a viv with ivy growing in it...

Anyone got any experience or opinions either way?

I've used ivy in many tanks and setups. No problems that I know of.

Don't give it any light - that slows it down a bit.

Seriously, I have ivy growing in several tanks that receive very little illumination. It still grows, but more slowly, which is nice.
Good plant.

Ivy is a great plant for terrariums, but you must be cautious as to which Ivy you choose to use- In other words STEER CLEAR OF POISON IVY!

I put two cute little ivy plants in my tiger tank and they died pretty quickly, not sure what from. Lack of light maybe?
