Java's arm fell off

One of the other axies in the tank bit Java's arm quite badly the other day.. it was red and almost falling off. We took her out of the tank, gave her a salt bath and then into a tank of her own.

I noticed last night that the part below her "elbow" fell off.. now it's just a bit of bone and healthy looking flesh around the top.

Would her leg eventually regrow?

Most axolotl under 6 months will quickly regrow whole limbs.

Older animals may not regrow the entire thing, but she'll cope. Make sure it doesn't develop fungus, and it'll heal over nicely.

It has been known for axolotl over a year old to make miraculous regrowth - so just keep your fingers crossed
