Jelly gose where?

What happens to the jelly after hatch do you remove it?
and dose the jelly egg split when they hatch out of age or is it forsed open by the larvea in side?

The larvae works its way out through he jelly, not too sure how, but mine did an awful lot of wriggling to get through( I wonder if the larvae produces a hormone to weaken it because its tough stuff! ) . I then used the trusty turky baster to suck out the empty casing, and any that just don't hatch.
