JFBN being sick

I was waching my japanise fire belly newt and it vomited.
It seems fine apart from this.
any ideas?

If it vomited, this could be seroius. Check what temp your tank is and what food you are feeding it.

the tank is unheated and the newt has been eating a mixture of fish flakes, daphnia, freeze dryed bloodworms, freeze dryed tubifex and pellets.
he has been like this for over a year, it was with an african dwarf frog until 2 weeks ago when it died (its head looked like it was coverd in slime and slightly eroded).
