John!! How could you let this happen!?!

One of my coworkers gets the magazine "Reptiles" and brought it in to show me an article they had on Axolotls. I took a read, and it was pretty basic stuff, but I was alarmed to see some of the pictures they were using.

Here is one of the larger pictures they used in the magazine:

and the caption in the top left corner:

This is clearly a Tiger Salamander larvae labeled as an Axolotl. Later in the article there is again a Tiger labeled as an Axolotl.

I was just surprised to see one of John's pictures used incorrectly in this article, although it is cool to see his work used in such a popular magazine.

John is aware of this. It seems despite his efforts and co-operation they made a mess with the photo's. They also had a little promotional video advertising this issue and again the pictures where incorrect. I can't help but wonder what else they get wrong

Is this something that has already been posted/discussed on the boards? If so, I apologize!\

However, the information regarding Axolotl care in the magazine is pretty darn good. The article emphasizes issues like temperature, water flow, proper water conditions, gravel, and even avoiding tankmates!

EDIT: I feel like an idiot. Apparently the whole article is written by John....of course the information is great.
