Hi! My name is Amanda. I just got three peninsula newts after remembering how much I loved my fire bellies as a kid. I have really enjoyed the website so far and I hope to be able to contribute in the future.
I hope that I see more about notophthalmus viridescens piaropicola on here because they've been so active and fun to watch so far.

Thanks! I think they're awesome so far. They seem more active than I thought they would be (not that I'm complaining). My firebelly newts were pretty sedentary. These actually seem to hunt and explore.

Active is normal, right?
