I just recently got 2 juvenile axolotls, and I had been feeding them with blackworms, but I wanted to know how much I should be feeding them, and how often? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

When you say juvenile, how juvenile are we talking about?

I think feeding requirements will vary depending on the individual, temperature, activity level, etc., but a good way to judge is body type - the body of an adult or near-adult axolotl should be roughly the same width as the head when viewed from above.

I wouldn't worry too much about over-feeding (as long as water quality stays good) while they are growing, but once they stop getting longer, keep an eye out and cut back if they keep getting wider ;)

I have heard that males tend to be slimmer than females as well. If you look through some of the photos people post in the Sick Axolotl forum, you will get a sense of what is a 'healthy weight' for an axolotl'. At least, I found that helpful myself.

Blackworms arent the best food for them as theyre quite fatty.

If theyre 2-4" bloodworms will be best either live or frozen (but defrosted) cubes.
The from 4" you can move them onto chopped up earthworm :D
