So I recently got my juvinille axo a few days ago. I've tried searching how often to feed them but I'm a little confused, Google only tells me from baby to adult. I have been feeding him twice a day and he does eat both times is that right?

And Also, I haven't noticed any poops in his tank, how often should he be? And why haven't i noticed any?

for juveniles, you definitely want to be feeding as much as they will eat multiple times a day, I think twice is ok. Depending on the axolotl they tend to pass waste every few days - a few days a week. It may be getting spread around or hid?

Okay, I kinda thought so. And I haven't noticed anything other than when he eats. I will keep an eye out. And I do remember now reading it takes a few days for a poop to come through. Thank you!

with axolotls would I basically have to keep buying and buying new axolotls to prevent inbred breeding which costs a lot of money??

Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation

Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
