Kia Ora and Greetings.
I have just been given an axolotl. It is amazing. My children have asked to touch it. I have said no way, but now I want to know do they like to be touched or left alone to do their thing.
I live in Hamilton New Zealand, where I teach Music at a middle school during the week, on the weekends My oldest sons and I run a sound reinforcement company we supply sound systems and crew for bands and events. I am a solo Dad of five boys three of whom are still at home.
Finally how do I know if its happy? I have done some research and know what to look for if it is stressd, unwell or unhappy. At the moment it seems healthy and happy. Oh it also has 6 toes on its right front foot. Whats up with this? is that common or some form of regeneration gone wrong?.
Its been the best ever gift and I am keen to see it live a long life so any help or advice towards this end would be gratefully received.
