I know there are plenty of threads already written about this but I'm going to be annoying and post this anyway.
As you can tell by the title I am wondering if my axolotl is male or female and needed the eyes of some experts to help me out.
I've had Bean for a few months now and originally thought it to be a he but only now I'm beginning to realise he is showing a few characteristics of a female (shorter, rounder body).
He's about 17cm long so it's probably to early to tell.
The other thing I should mention that made me believe he was a boy to begin with was that whenever he'd have a 'zoomies' moment his cloaca seems to look a little swelled and more like balls?
