i thought it was a blood worm peeping through the gill slit but it doesn’t seem to be that?

i don’t think it is this but i’ve got axolotl babies atm so i’m having to use water from the tank everyday and then topping it up again :/ i don’t think that’s it as it’s not happened to my other axolotl in another tank

I have seen a couple of threads with the same question and I believe the conclusion that everyone came to Is that it is completely harmless. I believe the threads said that they are capillary beds? I would definitely do some more research into this topic though it seems to be pretty fascinating! Here is the link to the thread I was looking at if you would like to check it out.🙂 Photo: - Is this common and/or anything to worry about?
