Larva identification

alrighty the momment of truth...This larva is about a just under a week old and 11 mm long. Its not a great quality pic but is someone able to identify it.
I think its a spotted salamander but i might be wrong.

Well i found them in Quebec, Knowlton to be precise and it was during the middle of spring. The only other salamanders that live in the region are northern two lined salamanders, dusky salamanders, spotted salamanders and spring salamanders.
 
can anyone confirm my assumption
 
Well, it's not a Eurycea, Desmognathus, or Gyrinophilus because it lacks all 4 legs at hatching. That leaves Ambystoma and Notophthalmus as the main choices, but it's still way to early to tell. Can you describe the location of the eggs and their appearance?

Also, are you sure you don't have 4-toed salamanders in your area? They can hatch out and look very similar to Ambystoma or Notophthalmus.
 
wow the larva in the photo grew about 3 mm in one day...impressive
